Dead Man's Gold

One of the minor neighboring barons is on his deathbed. He despises all of his rightful heirs, so he's decided to conduct a ritual that will turn him into an immortal undead. However, the baron is afraid that his neighbors might use this as a pretext to seize his lands. If someone were to provide him protection, he would surely reward them generously.
