A plutocratic movement is gaining momentum. Its self-serving adherents believe that a person's value depends upon their wealth and influence. However, they also believe that people are not equal by birth, and claim special privileges for themselves. Their ambition is fuelled by the greed of merchants and landlords, eager to profit from this new philosophy. This immoral movement must be stopped before it becomes a plague on our society.
