Troll Trouble
Though the outlaws have been vanquished, and a rightful government has been established in the Stolen Lands, travelers should keep their eyes peeled: these places are still chock-full of danger! Approaching the river, we hear the sounds of battle. Someone's in trouble! Who will step in to help them, if not the realm's baron?
Objectives
0/8 · Saved on this deviceHelp the beleagured travelers
A cry for help has reached our ears. "Oh no," someone yells. "Move faster, you lazy cowards, you chicken-livered sods – or we're done for!" Wasting no time, we hurry to the rescue.
Save the cart from the river
What a glorious victory! – We ground those little blighters into dust – the kobolds, I mean. Not the gnomes, of course! Alas, while we were fighting, their cart – the gnomes', not the kobolds' – slipped into the river and was nearly carried away by the current.
AttachLevelToWagon
We could really use a good crowbar to hold the cart's wheels.
AttachRopeToWagon
This is where we learn why seasoned adventurers never leave home without a rope!
TieFoundPonies
Among all the fuss, the cart's ponies have nearly slipped their harnesses. Better hurry to catch them!
Locate the ancient outpost
The gnome we saved turned out to be a celebrity. He's none other than Jubilost Narthropple himself – a famous traveler and explorer, the author of three monographs, seventeen guidebooks, two cookbooks, several hundred scientific publications, and one romance novel (published under a pen name). Nowadays he's creating a map of the Stolen Lands – and he's sure that somewhere around here there's a long-lost dwarven outpost that trolls may have taken up residence in. It's high time someone recovered whatever's been lost there! Onwards – we've got some searching to do!
Bring Jubilost to the outpost
We've found the dwarven outpost. Maybe it would be a nice idea to bring Jubilost here. – The sight might lift his spirits.
Talk to Jubilost
The gnomes have been saved! I'm sure they'll want to thank us from the bottoms of their hearts – let's not keep them waiting!
