Looks like a mysterious relic emerged somewhere to the east of our lands. I have no clue what it is and what's its purpose, but I know for certain — we need to acquire it! At least, this way our enemies won't use it against us!
Objectives
0/13 · Saved on this deviceFind the relic that the Defaced Sisters are looking for
If those troublesome Sisters won't tell us what they're looking for in the cyclops ruins, then we'll just have to find it ourselves! We know where the other priestesses went. – We only have to follow them.
Learn more about the Oculus of Abaddon
The raven spoke of the Oculus of Abaddon – a mysterious artifact that can grant immense magical power. But we know next to nothing about it – perhaps Vordakai's sanctuary will have some answers...
Addendum_1_2
All we found in the Sepulcher of Forgotten Heroes was a giant pile of disappointment. On the other hand, at least we weren't the only unlucky ones – the Sisters didn't have any luck either!
Addendum_1_3
We didn't find the relic in the City of Hollow Eyes... For gods' sake, who came up with these creepy names?!
Addendum_1_4
The Defaced Sisters were unable to find the relic. But much to our surprise, Dugath gave us a clue about where to look next: the Valley of the Dead.
Take the Oculus of Abaddon from Vordakai
If we want lasting peace in our barony, we'll have to face this Vordakai and take his precious Oculus of Abaddon. I hope our baroness is wise enough to not use it himself!
Addendum_2_1
The Oculus of Abaddon grants its owner terrible power. Using it, Vordakai possesses the ability to control the minds of large groups of people all at once!
Addendum_2_2
The chamber that once housed the Oculus of Abaddon is much older than the rest of the tomb. The relic seems more ancient than even the cyclops himself. It appears his sanctuary was built around this chamber to protect it, and the treasure it held. But where's the relic now?
Addendum_2_3
How horrible! To use the Oculus of Abaddon, that crazy Vordakai replaced his own eye with it!
Addendum_1_1
All we found in the Forsaken Mound was the corpse of one of the Defaced Sisters, along with an odd incense burner shaped like a cyclops skull. Could that piece of junk be the relic we're looking for?
Defeat Vordakai
Things are getting worse by the minute! Tristian betrayed us, stole the Oculus of Abaddon from Vordakai – and just ran off! And there we were alone, with another lost relic that we were not so eager to find: an enraged, ancient, cyclops lich. It's time to send this Vordakai back to the past where he belongs!
Determine the fate of the citizens of Varnhold
Vordakai has been defeated, but the lives of Varnhold's citizens are still in peril. Their souls are trapped in the magic jars that line the lich's tomb. We must hurry!
Await further developments
Vordakai no longer poses a threat to the barony, but we emerged from the ordeal empty-handed. The Oculus of Abaddon is gone, Tristian has run away – and he used the same kind of portal we saw during the Season of Bloom! No one has any idea what's going on, or where we can find our betrayer, but I suspect we'll be hearing from Tristian again very soon.
