Plan your kingdom

Rank, time and building effects are different parts of the same decision.

Thresholds are not automatic promotions

The kingdom’s stat thresholds rise in steps of 20, while the barony rank limit is 6. Reaching a number is not the same as completing its rank-up project. Keep the stat value, current rank and the relevant advisor’s project together.

Read both costs

Projects can cost BP and require the ruler’s time. A project with no BP cost can still occupy days you wanted for another task. Settlement buildings have their own build cost, time and footprint; compare those fields before choosing the next investment.

Plan effects, then placement

A building’s listed stat changes are its direct effects. Adding those changes gives a useful first comparison, but does not prove an adjacency bonus or remove a region prerequisite. Follow a building’s upgrade and region links before treating it as interchangeable with another building.

Match advisors to the event

Events have advisor-specific resolutions. The result can depend on the margin, alignment and selected resolution, not merely on a successful roll. Read the event’s actual outcome rows before spending scarce resources on it.
